Question: What is the cancellation policy for a tee time?

Answer: All cancellations of tee times must be made at least 24 hours prior to the tee time.

Please phone the Links Pro Shop (780.962.4653) to cancel your time.

If times are cancelled within 24 hours of your tee-time or you do not show up for your Tee Time, you could face disciplinary action from the golf course regarding future bookings (i.e. prepaying for tee times and/or you could lose booking privileges).

Question: How long should 9 holes take to play?

Answer: 9-holes of golf should take no longer than 2 hours and 10 minutes (should spend less than 14 minutes per hole). If there is a group ahead of you, you should keep up to their pace.

Question: How can I speed up my round?

Answer:

  1. Limit the search for lost balls to two minutes.

  2. If your stroke count for a hole reaches double par, pick up your ball and proceed to the next tee.

  3. After taking your first putt, continue until you hole out.

  4. Red tees are recommended for beginners and players with high handicaps

  5. Never talk or tell stories that delay play. There is plenty of time between shots while walking or riding to the next shot for chatting.

Question: What is "ready golf"?

Answer: “Ready golf” is a term used that indicates that players should play when they are ready to do so, rather than strictly following the procedure of “farthest from the hole should play first”. (example: if someone is looking for their ball, you can hit your ball, instead of waiting for them to find the ball and then hitting yours).

Question: How many people can be in my golf group?

Answer: Each Tee Time is intended for 4 players – try to fill up all tee times and invite single golfers to join in. If you do not fill your foursome, the Links will likely pair you up with golfers from the league to make it a foursome.
